How To Use The Joint Ease Oil For Effective Arthritis Treatment
A common question….
I’ve been asked a number of times over the past few weeks by people suffering with arthritis and stiff joints if they have to keep applying the joint ease oil when the pain has stopped and the inflammation in the joints has decreased.
So I decided it was best to write a short post to explain the best way to use the Joint Ease oil to treat these conditions as effectively as possible.
The joint ease oil has been designed to treat osteoarthritis and gout.
For the treatment of fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis please read the details about the Joint & Muscle Ease oil in the Therapeutic oils guide.
How The Oil Works
The initial impact of the blend of oils used is that of peppermint which helps to alleviate pain almost immediately, while Basil calms the nerves, and Rosemary stimulates blood flow thereby warming the area bringing further relief.
Lavender and Chamomile restore a healing balance, while the potent antispasmodic action of Marjoram, Clary sage and Benzoin bring deep relief to the affected joint.
How To Use The Oil For The Best Results
A very common thing people say to me is “I feel so much better now, the pain has stopped, my mobility has really improved so I stopped using the oil”.
This is the biggest mistake people make with the joint ease oil.
In order for the oil to be as effective as possible it must be massaged into the affected joint 2-3 times daily, every day, and the effects are cumulative.
If you stop using the oil you will notice a gradual increase of pain and reduced mobility.
For the oil to be most effective it must to be used on an ongoing basis so you can rid yourself of the pain and discomfort once and for all without the need for medication.
“This all sounds like like a bit of a chore”
I’ve had a number of people say to me to me having to use it 2-3 times every day is a bit of a chore.
The best way to look at it is it’s just like brushing your teeth, it must become part of your daily routine so it becomes habitual and no longer feels like a chore.
What are the alternatives?….go back to suffering with joint pain, inflammation and poor mobility, and end up taking medication again. From my experience people just want to use a natural solution that actually works.
The benefits of using the oil…
- Improves joint mobility
- Soothes aching and stiff joints
- Disperses the build up of uric acid which crystallises in the joints causing severe pain and inflammation
- Calms the nerves and eases the muscles
- Stimulates local blood flow
- Warms the joints and helps to ease pain
